An easy climb through terraced fields, vineyards and avocado groves. On the way we pass typical scattered villages where the locals live. Can you see the face of King Kong in the old volcanic vent formed by erosion? We continue climbing along an old shepherd’s path until we reach a viewpoint from where we have an exceptional panoramic view of the north coast of Tenerife, the adjacent ravines, the lush green mountainsides and the beautiful valley of El Palmar. After the picnic we follow a path through a beautiful subtropical laurel forest. From the top of the valley, we descend into a fabulous rural landscape, very picturesque and one of the most beautiful orchards in the Canary Islands. At the end of the walk we return to the valley, passing colourful villages and fields of crops and fruit trees. We can stop at a typical restaurant for a traditional “barraquito” coffee, some tapas or a good local wine (not included in the price). Wear hiking shoes or trainers with good soles and bring raincoat, hat, sun protection and enough water with you.

This hike is suitable for children from 8 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

This activity requires a minimum of 3 participants. If the minimum number is not reached, the people who have booked can assume the remaining cost for the excursion to take place, otherwise the excursion will be cancelled and the amount of the reservation will be refunded.
