Fascinating Palmar Valley

Fascinating Palmar Valley

The route offers an accessible ascent through a series of terraced fields, vineyards, and avocado groves. The route also offers views of typical scattered villages where the local population resides. Please direct your attention to the old volcanic vent formed by erosion. You will be able to discern the face of King Kong in it. We continue our ascent along an ancient shepherd’s trail until we reach a vantage point offering unparalleled vistas of the northern coastline of Tenerife, the neighbouring ravines, the verdant mountainsides and the idyllic valley of El Palmar. Following the picnic, we proceed to traverse a path through a stunning subtropical laurel forest. From the summit of the valley, we proceed to a rural landscape of remarkable beauty, home to one of the most exquisite orchards in the Canary Islands. Upon completion of the walk, we will return to the valley, passing through a number of vibrant villages and fields of crops and fruit trees. You may wish to stop at a local restaurant for a traditional coffee, tapas or wine (not included in the price). This walking experience is ideally suited to families with children, and is offered in one of the most rural areas of Tenerife. Wear hiking shoes or trainers with good soles and bring raincoat, hat, sun protection and enough water with you.

This hike is suitable for children from 8 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
