In favourable conditions, the summit of Teide and Pico Viejo volcanoes, as well as the neighbouring islands of La Palma and La Gomera, can be observed. The route passes through a lush subtropical laurel forest, which provides a habitat for a variety of native birds. Visitors to the area can also gain insight into the local way of life through interactions with the livestock and the people who work in these picturesque volcanic mountains. We have the opportunity to discover this breathtaking natural landscape, comprising canyons, volcanic domes and various rock formations, with the Atlantic Ocean in the distance. Following a scheduled picnic break, the tour continues through a forest of ancient heather until reaching a typical hamlet where guests may enjoy a coffee or glass of local wine (at own expense). The warmth of the Canary Islanders, who have preserved their ancient cultural traditions, will be felt by all. We then resume our journey along the trail, which takes us through verdant ravines where the sounds of birdsong and a plethora of tropical flowers accompany us at every turn. The route then descends to the verdant valley, marking the conclusion of this memorable journey in one of the most picturesque rural parks in the Canary Islands. <strong>Wear hiking shoes or trainers with good soles and bring raincoat, hat, sun protection and enough water with you.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This hike is suitable for children from 12 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This activity requires a minimum of 3 participants.
