Take a walk through one of the most beautiful and emblematic landscapes of Tenerife. Monte del Agua, also known as Monteverde, is a vast expanse of Canary laurel rainforest, crossed by deep ravines and galleries where water gushes up from the depths of the island. The forest is home to a variety of unique animal and plant species. We observe a variety of endemic specimens, including heather and giant laurel, as well as a diverse range of subtropical plants and flowers. As we traverse the forest, the melodies of blackbirds, canaries and robins intertwine with the fluttering of laurel pigeons. We also pass abandoned settlements and old paths that were previously used by the local population to travel from the coast to the summit and vice versa. The entire area is a green plant world teeming with life, which we are confident will amaze you. The tour will conclude with a visit to a local restaurant, where we will celebrate the day’s success with a toast. Wear hiking shoes or trainers with good soles and bring raincoat, hat, sun protection and enough water with you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This hike is suitable for children from 12 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.<\/strong><\/p>\n
