The route then continues along a path through black ash, surrounded by green pines and a blue sky. Here, you may be surprised by the appearance of the mystical sea of clouds. We will then continue up the slopes of La Botija volcano until we reach a vantage point offering impressive views of the Monta\u00f1a Reventada (2,230 m), Pico Viejo (3,135 m) and Teide (3,715 m) volcanoes. his distinctive, otherworldly landscape evokes a sense of being on another planet. The diverse flora includes broom, laburnum, rose bushes and pine trees. In terms of fauna, it is possible to observe a number of endemic bird species inhabiting the areas where the pine forest meets the broom. This natural area was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2007 and has served as a filming location for several notable science fiction films. We will then climb to the 1,937-metre summit of the Samara volcano, where sweeping, spectacular panoramic views of several nearby volcanic cones, the island of La Gomera and the peaks of the Teno Rural Park can be admired. We will conclude our excursion at a local restaurant, where we will raise a toast to mark the end of this successful day and share our impressions. <strong>Wear hiking shoes or trainers with good soles and bring raincoat, warm clothes, hat, sun protection and enough water with you.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This hike is suitable for children from 12 years old.
